
Jaclyn McPheeters is an AACN board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Integrative Health Group. She graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Lewis University. She practiced as a registered nurse for 12 years in intensive care and is an AACN board certified critical care registered nurse. She started her career at OSF Little Company of Mary, has worked at Rush University, and most recently worked at Palos Northwestern in Palos Heights in critical care. Prior to working in the practice she most recently was a full time tenure track assistant professor of nursing and taught advanced medical-surgical nursing and captone in both didactic and clinical settings for Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights.
She is happily married and has two young children. She enjoys camping and being outdoors with her kids in her free time. When she is not spending time with her family, she is a volunteer Vice President board member for a non-profit that benefits families with spina bifida in Illinois, Ellavation. She is part of the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and is a team member contributor for a current study through the University of Pittsburg working to write a national nursing curriculum that supports climate change and environmental health advocacy efforts. She does educational speaking engagements for both patients as well as for other nursing audiences; most recently she lectured a national webinar hosted by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) for nurse educators.
